I had several health issues, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, GERD, mild arthritis and sleep apnea. When my grandson arrived I wanted to be healthier. I work at TriStar Horizon therefore I have seen the progress their patients made and how devoted the staff was to the program and their patients. The aftercare was a necessity and this program had a great support system. So I decided to have gastric by-pass surgery.
The Solutions’ staff are great. I was treated with the up most respect and dignity. I received educational support, medical support, emotional support, as well as nutritional support. Most of all I received unconditional support in all areas. Anything that was a concern was addressed and answered, anything that I may not have understood was explained to my understanding and any feeling that I experienced was heard and validated. I was never uninformed or scared and I always knew that I could call the staff for anything.
My hospital experience was the best. The nurses were specially trained to care for me, they made me feel very comfortable and they were my cheerleaders. We were in this recovery stage together, they stayed with me as much as necessary, and they walked with me and talked with me and seemed to understand what I was going through although they may not have been through it personally. The treated me with respect and never made me feel embarrassed or ashamed. I do not think I have ever been treated so special in a hospital setting, I knew I was safe and I knew they truly cared for my well being.
