Lost: 130 pounds
When I was put in the hospital for liver problems, my doctor said my weight was threatening my life. That is when I chose to have weight loss surgery.
Prior to surgery, I was plagued with numerous co-morbidities associated with obesity such as sleep apnea, liver disease and chronic joint/muscle pain. Since losing 130 pounds I no longer have knee or leg pain, my liver is normal… and most importantly, I can run and play with my grandchildren!
The journey started with the surgery, and continued from that point forward. Healthy eating habits, regular exercise and the support of my surgeon, Dr. Gus Heurta, the Solutions' staff, friends and family have become essential for my continued success. It is wonderful to be healthy again!
